Prof Godwin Makaudze is an Associate Professor and the head of the African Languages and Literature Department. He holds a PhD (UNISA), MA (University of Zimbabwe), Post Graduate Diploma (Midlands State University and a BA Hons from the University of Zimbabwe. His research interests lie in African Literature (oral and written), Children’s Literature, Gender and Literature, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Ecocriticism, Afrocentricity and Africana Womanist theories.
