Dr Jessie Furvin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of African Languages and Literature. She holds a PhD in Commonwealth Literature from Madurai Kamaraj, MA (American College) and BA (Fatima College). Dr Furvin has special interest in Commonwealth Literature, The African Novel and Cinematic Traditions, Fourth World and Indigenous Literatures, Feminist Theory and Women’s studies, Post-humanism, and Critical Theory.
