Mrs Lindiwe Simelane is a Lecturer in the Department of Academic Communication Skills. She holds an Honours degree in Applied English Language Studies (AELS) and a Postgraduate Diploma in the Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as an MA in Applied Linguistics and Literary Theory from the University of Johannesburg. She is a PhD candidate researching on Language, Gender, and Legal Discourse in Eswatini. Her broader research interests include Language and Gender, Academic Writing, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and Applied Linguistics.
