Dr Shokahle R. Dlamini is a historian. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA). Her area of specialisation is Medical History. Consequently, her research portfolio encompasses the broad field of medical history, including, inter alia, the history of medical professions. She has focused particularly on the History of the Nursing Profession, exploring the evolution and development of this profession in Eswatini and the role of the Church of the Nazarene (CON) in this context. Her research interest has expanded to include the History of Reproductive Health in Southern Africa in the Colonial and Post-colonial periods.
